A 22-year-old white man is being held without bail on charges he shot three Cape Verdean people, killing two. Police said Keith Luke told them he was "fighting for a dying race" and planned to kill as many black people as possible and he had been planning to kill all "non-white" people.

According to papers filed in court, Luke said he had been planning to kill African-Americans, Hispanic and Jewish people and he had planned to go to a Jewish synagogue near his home that night and "kill as many Jews as possible on bingo night."

Luke of 1177 Pleasant St., Brockton, pleaded innocent to two counts of murder, kidnapping, aggravated rape and other charges in Brockton District Court Thursday morning. He was ordered held without bail.He told police in an interview after his Wednesday arrest that he purchased a 9mm handgun with 200 rounds of ammunition about six months ago outside Gilmore Academy on Clinton Street. He said he planned to kill himself after his killing spree.

Luke, who attended Brockton High School in 2001 but didn't graduate, told police he went to his former home at 103 Clinton St. around 12:20 p.m. Wednesday and planned to kill one of his former neighbors Salma Goncalves, 20, but another woman answered the door.

He asked if he could come in to use the phone because his van broke down, then he pulled out his gun and forced his way inside. He told police he brought a backpack that contained two sets of handcuffs, a blindfold, hammer and a mouth gag.

He told police he cuffed the other woman behind her back then sodomized her on the living room floor and on the floor of one of the bedrooms. About 20 to 25 minutes later he heard someone banging on the door, got dressed, grabbed his gun and answered the door.

When he opened the door he found Salma Goncalves holding a knife ready to stab him.

He pointed the gun at her and tried to pull her inside and she started to run.

He said his plan began to "fall apart" so he shot her in the back as she fled.

He said he went to the bedroom where he left his rape victim and saw her kneeling on the ground holding a white teddy bear.

He said he fired through the teddy bear a few times, striking her. Then he went outside to his van and reloaded his gun.

As he backed out of the driveway, he saw Salma Goncalves on the sidewalk and saw a "non ">white" man helping her.

He said he fired a few shots at the man while he was in the driver's side of his van but wasn't sure if he struck him.

Luke said he then drove off searching for other "nonwhite" victims.

That's when he saw a "nonwhite" homeless man pushing a carriage. he placed his van in park, walked over to the man identified as Arlindo Depina Goncalves, pointed the gun and fired.

The mother of Knicks center Eddie Curry’s 3-year-old son and her infant daughter were found murdered at her South Side Chicago apartment on Saturday, according to various reports.

Police found Nova Henry, 24, and daughter, Ava, fatally shot around 6 p.m., the Chicago Tribune reported.

They are searching for a “known acquaintance” of Henry’s in connection with the murder.

Henry’s 3-year-old—Curry’s—was discovered unharmed, sources told the Tribune and the New York Daily News.

Immediate family members did not comment but a man indentifying himself as Henry’s uncle say they believe they know the who the gunman is.

“She had a stalker boyfriend,” he told WMAQ in Chicago. “And she had a restraining order against him and she was trying to avoid all this.”

A Knicks source close to Curry described him as “distraught” on hearing the news of his former girlfriend’s death and what his son witnessed, according to The News.

Curry flew back to New York from Philadelphia after a game on Saturday, the source said.

The Knicks center has had on-going tragedy in his personal life since being traded from the Chicago Bulls in 2005.

His former driver sued him for sexual harassment and racial discrimination, accusing Curry of unwanted advances, pointing a gun at him and making “abusive, anti-Semitic epithets.”

In 2007, Curry’s family was robbed in their suburban Chicago home by masked men who took cash and jewelry after duct taping the family in the house.

Cutler’s US Vogue-dedicated frockumentary, The September Issue, has finally enjoyed its world premier at the Sundance Film Festival with no less than Wintour herself honouring the glacial festival with her notoriously glacial presence. Although in this video, below, of a post-screening Q&A which was uploaded yesterday – with, at the time of writing, a mere 200-odd views – Wintour comes across as quite warm. If a little eccentric – she insists on wearing her trademark sunglasses inside the theatrette, as if she’s front row at a fashion show. Gawker quotes an unnamed tipster who claims Wintour flew economy from Salt Lake City to New York. But one hilarious detail which appears to have escaped Gawker’s attention is the name of the distributor which has reportedly picked up international rights for the film. Elle Driver.

A member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad (the “DIVAS”) Elle Driver, aka “California Mountain Snake”, plays a key role in both Kill Bill Volume I and II.


At the beginning of the first film, Driver infiltrates the hospital in which Uma Thurman’s character, Beatrix Kiddo, has lain comatose for several years.

Driver has instructions from "Bill" to kill Kiddo - who survives only after Bill, Kiddo's nemesis and former lover, has a change of heart and decides the hospital hit is bad form.

CHUCK D FIGHTS FOR MORE FEMALES IN HIP HOP !!!!

Legendary Public Enemy front man and activist Chuck D has set a 2009 resolution to rectify the marginalized representation of females in Hip-Hop culture.

A swept aside issue in recent years, Chuck D argues that the lack of prominent women in Hip-Hop is causing the culture to move backward and devalue many of the progressive strides made by female pioneers in the 80s and 90s.“In ‘09, my fighting the power is for women in Hip-Hop, especially groups, producers, songwriters, and label heads,” Chuck D explained to AllHipHop.com. “There are very, very few all women rap groups. Less than we had 25 years ago. I feel it is the next revolution in this 'same dude, same idea, same voice genre.’ I personally feel that the lack of groups on the male side has hurt, as well as production teams for the sake of soloists, across the board.”

The first step in the process is pushing the next generation of female emcees through SLAMjamz (http://www.slamjamz.com), Chuck’s independent record label.

The label promotes the all-female Hip-Hop collective Crew Grrl Order.

The 3 member group is currently completing their sophomore album, which features a pioneer and legend MC Lyte on the first single “All Bets Are Off.”

Even in his eagerness to help, Chuck D remains aware that any movement for females in Hip-Hop should be helmed by women themselves.

And, the celebrated front man is optimistic of his group’s potential to reach the women Hip-Hop music currently does not speak to or for.

29 -E (R.I.P) UP AND COMING SEATTLE RAPPER KILLED !!!!

Two men have been arrested and questioned in connection to the murder of up-and-coming rapper 29-E at a hip-hop concert in Washington over the weekend.

According to Seattlepi, a Seattle police SWAT team detained both an 18 year-old and 25 year-old for a shooting at the city's Chop Suey venue which left two men injured and left rapper 29-E fatally wounded.

The first arrest came yesterday (January 4) when the 25 year-old suspect was brought in on suspicion of felony assault while the 18 year-old suspect was placed in King County Jail for assault charges, says police spokesperson Renee Witt.

A friend to one of the wounded men has said members of the hip-hop community, including artists, producers, agents and owners, were reportedly set to meet Sunday night to discuss the frequency of violence in clubs around Seattle.

"They are going to figure out how to handle it," the source told Seattlepi. "The violence at hip-hop clubs in general. I don't think it has anything to do with the music."

Upon interviewing both suspects, one has reportedly been released and is being considered a witness of the event. No information on the names of the suspects has been issued as of today (January 5).

As previously reported by us , a shooting around 12:30 a.m. took place at Chop Suey Sunday morning killing 29-E and injuring the show's host, 1st Black Prez and Black Senate's Trama.

WASHINGTON – President-elect Barack Obama hailed a rare Oval Office gathering of all U.S. presidents as an extraordinary event on Wednesday as the current occupant, President George W. Bush, reminded his predecessors and successor that the office "transcends the individual."

"I want to thank the president-elect for joining the ex-presidents for lunch," Bush said, even though he's not quite a member of that club yet.
"One message that I have and I think we all share is that we want you to succeed. Whether we're Democrat or Republican we care deeply about this country," Bush said. "All of us who have served in this office understand that the office itself transcends the individual."

Bush and Obama also met privately for roughly 30 minutes. That one-on-one meeting, coming just 13 days before Obama's inauguration, likely focused on grim current events, with war in the Gaza Strip and the economy in a recession.

The five bedroom house, which lies on a sprawl in the Cave Creek valley outside of Phoenix, is currently on the market for $429,000, nearly $200,000 less than the multi-platinum selling rapper paid for the home in 2003.Had the home been kept in proper condition, it should be worth nearly $650,000, according to a local real estate agent in charge of selling the home.

The house is being sold on behalf of the bank and according to DMX‘s wife Tashera Simmons, part of the reason for the home’s poor condition is that after the Simmons separated, no one took care of the home.

In addition to the fact that the family ceased paying for the cleaning service that had previously taken care of the home in their absence, the home was further left damaged after a SWAT Team raid in May of last year.

The raid, which resulted in the X’s arrest on drug and animal cruelty charges, left several open access points for thieves to access the home.

Following the SWAT Team’s investigation, the house’s front door was left blown in, as well as several broken windows around the property.

They also left the tile and carpet throughout the house charred.

In the months since, burglars have removed nearly all valuables in the home, including DMX’s ATV recreational vehicles.

To make matters worse, when the bank took over the property, they found anything that the thieves deemed uninteresting simply laying in the pool.
